Your Facilitator, Anne Edwards
Anne Edwards
Potter 35 years, Breath work teacher 24 years
Trained from an early age in the Japanese principles at the heart of Hagi ware and the philosophy of wabi sabi, Anne uses breath practices while she makes pots and this results in vessels that are quiet and contemplative. It is her wish that this sense of calm may transfer to the holder of the vessel, and that the vessel may be a conduit to a relaxed and present state.
Anne trained in yoga, meditation, and breath work with an Indian yoga master in the foothills of the Himalayas in Nepal. She spent a year with him, practicing 5-6 hours daily until these practices became second nature.
Also a linguist and musician, Anne has taught all over the world. Her clients have been CEOs of international companies, members of royal families, and university students. She has lectured at Australian universities for over a decade. Her teaching methods are quiet and spacious, non-judgemental and she is aware and accommodating of the differences that people bring to the learning space. Her intention is to create safe spaces where learners can explore, reflect, and progress.
